Inside Line Promotions – SHAWNEE, Okla. (March 12, 2018) – Seth Bergman kicks off his Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com campaign this weekend with momentum.

Bergman was victorious during his most recent race and this weekend’s doubleheader is hosted by Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, where Bergman has earned a lot of success throughout his career.

“You’re only as good as your last race so right now we feel pretty good entering the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour season,” he said. “We ended last year really strong and felt like we started hitting on some things. We’ve had really good speed this year and we’ve continued to learn. The biggest thing for me is we’re finally getting to a point where we’re confident why we’re carrying speed.”

Bergman, who won the series finale last season to give him at least one Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour victory in each of the last six years, has an outstanding track record at Devil’s Bowl Speedway.

He’s recorded at least one top-five finish at the track during each of the last five seasons, including five top fives in six races last year. In fact, Bergman has one win, 10 top fives and 13 top 10s in 17 races there dating back to 2013. He’s also posted at least one top-10 result each year since 2012.

“It’s a confidence builder whenever you head to a track where you’ve been a contender,” he said. “Devil’s Bowl is a tricky track. I think it takes time to learn it and become comfortable there. When I first started going there it was one of the biggest challenges. Maybe because of that I really started paying attention to it and trying to go fast. I think that’s where our good results have come from.”
