Inside Line Promotions – SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (April 24, 2014) – Inside Line Promotions pilots Derek Hagar, Seth Bergman and Giovanni Scelzi each captured a feature victory last weekend.
Hagar led the distance of the season opener on Saturday at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark. It marked his fourth triumph in six races this season.
Bergman used a late-race pass to record his second win of the season last Friday at West Siloam Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Okla., during the ASCS Sooner Region event. He also charged from last to a fourth-place finish on Saturday at Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Mo., in an ASCS Sooner and ASCS Warrior Regional showdown.
Scelzi propelled himself to a second victory this season by taking the lead on the final corner of his winged micro sprint race Friday at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia, Calif. Scelzi added a fourth-place result during nonwing action that night.
Other Team ILP drivers with top-five performances include Jack Dover, who scored a runner-up result on Saturday with the Nebraska 360 Sprints at Raceway Park in Jefferson, S.D. It was Dover’s first podium of the year.
Big Game Motorsports driver Sammy Swindell earned his first podium result of the season on Night 1 of the Texas Outlaw Nationals last Friday with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas. It also marked his third consecutive top-five finish.
Chase Johnson notched his second straight fifth-place result on Saturday at Petaluma Speedway in Petaluma, Calif., by making a last-lap pass.
